I'm having a bizarre couple of creature ideas... so here's another one... enjoy. Blacksway Magic Wishing Chair Medium Construct Based on the Adventures of the Wishing Chair by Enid Blyton this charming little antique is a mischievous little creature. It has the ability to magically transport creatures sitting upon it to far away destination. Quite often the final destination will not be that which the wishing creature had wished for, at least not out loud. It uses all the information is can gather from its mind reading abilities and tries to work out what would be best for the travellers in the long run, sometimes taking them places they didn't want to go and often refusing to take them back exactly when they want. Its intentions are always good, although sometimes this can lead people into situations a scrapes that they would have best avoided. If it senses that its occupants have done something bad then it may under certain circumstances try to teach them a lesson, which while sometimes painful emotionally will very rarely involve actual physical harm. While not being animated in the truest sense of the word it has small wings which sprout from each of its four legs and allow it to fly through the air. The process of being transported actually gives the travellers the feeling of flying through the air over mysterious lands, although whether these lands actually exist or where they might be is unknown. Hit Dice: 2d10 (11hp) Initiative: +0 Speed: 0ft (stationary), fly 60ft (good) AC: 14 (+4 natural) Attacks: Slam +2 melee (+1 str, +1 bab) Damage: Slam 1d6+1 Face/Reach: 5ft by 5ft/5ft Special Attacks: None Special Qualities: Wish Travel, Wish Interpretation, Construct Saves: Fort: +0 Ref: +0 Wis: +2 Abilities: Str: 12 Dex: 11 Con: - Int: 6 Wis: 15 Cha: 16 Climate: Any land or underground. Organisation: Solitary CR: 3 Treasure: None Alignment: CG Advancement: None Combat The Wishing Chair will hardly ever get itself into a situation where it needs to fight, especially with its innate ability to be able to teleport at a moments notice. If you did manage to corner it, it would put up a fight, but not likely be much of a challenge. Wish Travel (Sp): When someone sitting upon the chair makes a wish the chair will sometimes try to grant that wish, specifically through its ability to transport itself and up to 1 large, 3 medium or 5 small creatures to any destination it has been or had described well (treat as teleport without error spell as cast by a 15th level wizard). Wish Interpretation: Using Detect Thoughts as if cast by a 5th level sorcerer when a wish is spoken if it thinks it has enough time the wishing chair will attempt to read the thoughts of the creatures who it would be transporting. It will use this information to determine the true location to which it teleports. Construct: Immune to mind-influencing effects, poison, disease, and similar effects. Not subject to critical hits, subdual damage, ability damage, energy drain, or death from massive damage.
