Message: <blockquote data-quote="Dextra" data-source="post: 3372227" data-attributes="member: 5705">The Annual Gen Con EN World RPG Awards, aka The ENnies, is in search of a logo to use on the web site (so it can be in colour), but also in print and on merchandise (so it needs to be easy-enough-to simplify and silk-screen in only 2 colours).  The ENnies are a fan-based celebration of excellence in tabletop role-playing games.  They started off on EN World, the world's largest RPG site, and have expanded from the d20 roots and a ceremony hosted by Gary Gygax on an online chat room to be the premiere RPG awards hosted at Gen Con Indy.  Every year thousands of fans from around the world vote in an online booth to indicate their favourite of five nominated products in categories ranging from best rules and art to best game.We are inviting fans and designers to submit concept sketches for a logo for the ENnie Awards to use in perpetuity.  The ENnies reserves the right to modify the logo design.  The winning selection will receive swag, notoriety, and depending on the design and how much work we need to do with it, $25-$100.  Things we wish to convey-RPGs-Fan Awards-Excellence (trophies, medals, radiating awesomeness beams, etc)-EN World (ie. International, online)Elements to include where possible:-EN World's font (Morpheus IIRC)-a globe or implication thereof-RPG reference(s): dice (no d20s please).  Not just D&D/Swords and Sorcery either- there's cyberpunk, westerns, pulp, spy, etc. so we can't go just medieval-looking.-no goddesses or elements strongly linked with other RPG Awards (please see <a href="http://www.ennieawards.com/links.html" target="_blank">http://www.ennieawards.com/links.html</a> for links)-ease of inclusion of the current year on or around the logoA few suggestions to get the juices flowing (only ideas- we're open to truly creative and excellent suggestions):-A "Daily Planet"-esque globe with the words ENnie Awards (please note the spelling, BTW) encircling it.  Mounted as though it's a trophy on the tip of a pyramid made from a d6.-A coat of arms featuring a pencil, dice, possibly crossed pistol and sword and the EN World logo.  Maybe even an Indianapolis-implication of a checkered flag.For more information about the ENnie Awards, please visit <a href="http://www.ennieawards.com" target="_blank">www.ennieawards.com</a> or email <a href="mailto:denise@ennieawards.com">denise@ennieawards.com</a>.  Please send your submissions to me via the ennies address by March 15th.EDIT: I've attached the Morpheus font used on the ENWorld logos to this post - Michael Morris</blockquote>
