Message: <blockquote data-quote="Mark" data-source="post: 924867" data-attributes="member: 5">That might be kinda interesting to bat around for a while.  Are they really in the Delta Quadrant now or is that just where they are in the future.  It's where the Borg came from that were in the future and attacked earth, hence why the Borg that were frozen sent their message there but is anyone there now to receive it?Here's a thought...What if the errant nanoprobes left over from destroying the Borg-highjacked earth medical ship infect some passing vessel, who then puts in to this self-contained space repair station to try and remove the infection but the space repair station and the nanoprobes combine.  Then the thing starts making itself into a cube, as it would try in do anyway, but decides to follow its own message and heads off to the Delta Quadrant.  It doesn't know that the Borg don't exist yet, but it knows where they sent the message.  Once there, the Borg begin their rise to power.That'd clean up two loose ends, close the plot circle of the Borg (explaining their creation) and remove this space repair station from our quadrant (since it is likely to have been discovered by others in the future if its existence continues as suggested by the end of that show where it was featured).Does this clean up the continuity at all?</blockquote>
