I tried to stick with what the character would do and only real twink was picking elves as favored enemy. Should have given him a ranged or reach weapon as a secondary weapon to avoid all those AoOs, but his primary goal is to get next to his opponent, rage and FA. Not much I could do about AC, even with a few more points, you would still have hit most of the time. Original concept was a high strength / low dex fighter with paired BS - so he needed ranger levels for TWF. Although with the high point buy for this fight, I could have given him a high enough dex for TWF and replaced the ranger levels with fighter levels to get TWF feat so he could have worn heavier armor - but then he would have been slower and Quillathe would have been able to keep out of his reach easier. In the end, if the dice had been a bit nicer to me, it could have gone the other way. I am willing to post short reviews of both books once I have had a look through them.
