Not having any problems with it either, except that why would I ever pick it when forum default and Classic look so similar...

Like Tom, anxiously awaiting "Stealth" mode...

Ok, I think it's safe to restore Stealth. It has also been stripped of drop downs.

The more I look at it though, the better the top looks without the dropdowns.

I've been having issues with charcoal while at home, I'm back on classic and everything seems to be running better.

When I get a better feel for how the board is acting I'll see how charcoal does on a 56K.

No difference with charcoal here! It's been slow all morning for me, though.

edit: just switched to "stealth." Oddly, it seems to be going TONS faster now.

Ok, all the styles are back up.

None of them have any javascript of my making. They do have the script that drives the ad banner included and the scripts that are a normal part of vbulletin.

One of the reasons that are rendering much faster is that they are table-based, not layer based as the previous ones were. I knew this would make a difference on older browsers/computers but I didn't realize it would make a difference on newer systems.

Size wise, the newer styles are actually *smaller* than the ENWorld classic style.

My remaining worry is the ad script - it was causing problems on me before but somehow it's resolved itself for now. I don't know if including it in a table will affect it. -my theory is it won't, but I've been wrong before.

One quick suggestion on the "Stealth mode"; which I otherwise am quite enjoying: the visited links and the non-visited links are the same color, making it much harder to track threads that I've responded to, or am otherwise watching progress. Is there anyway we can make a (subtle) color difference there?
