Well since no one else updated ;) I had to leave at 5 (had plans, they went well thanks for asking). Here is a rundown with pics hopefully tonight. Met for bagels- Morpheus, Pylar, Adlon (Mortality) and myself. Space Shuttle crash, was kinda a weird sobering effect. Got to game store about 10:30 and met up with blu-wolf, and a few others. We talked games, mini's etc... Jim Butler from Bastion heard about the game day and sent some "just released" items to be gawked over and sold at the store for this event. Allies and Adversaries is a awesome looking book. We had a few of Foul Locales: Beyond the Walls and Necromancer's Legacy available as well. Duane the owner was very nice and we took over the game room, he had raffles for movie passes and Adlon gave away Mortality gift certificates to the store. MEG gave something to all game attendees. We started late (who knew) and got into Spycraft Sir Osis of the Liver showed up after getting lost :p . We had two younger players (Amber and Adam) who never RPG'd before join us we had 8 people. It took awhile for new players and non-Spycraft people to get a brief understanding of the game so while it took a long time to start and we never finished, it was a great feeling because one of the newbies (Adam) won a gift certifcate and bought Amber and himself dice...after he asked about a fantasy version of Spycraft, we showed him the world of D&D.... Pylar started a CoC game late but determined and we all knew we would not get to any D&D  :( . So we vowed to get e-mails and phone numbers and get togther to run Mark's (Creative Mountain Games) adventure that SOotL was going to run and Morpheus (who was a great Contoller) for Spycraft vowed to start a 3e campaign. So we learned a lot about timing and gaming we will do better next time, the store said he would open earlier and we will plan better. It was real cool to meet everyone and I hope has inspired all who met to come back and go bigger and better. So we learned from our poor timing, and we need to buffer things like brand new players etc....but everyone was nice (what else did ya expect) and getting 2 kids interested in RPG's made it all worthwhile. We nicknamed people during the Spycraft game and really did enjoy oursleves. From what I remember: Morpheus-controller nickname "Rat Bastard" or &^$&^$:D SOotL-wheelman-codename Pot Hole, nickname roll on the floor and scream Pylar-Frontman-codename (I forgot) no nickname he was a great player We had 3 who are not of the boards Thanos, Adam and Amber. Adlon was a ? and had a grenade launcher and like to use it indoors, he also liked to strip search bodies...it was a little weird. I was a soldier Black Siren (BS for short) and was known to shoot at everything and hit walls a lot. So we did not get to as much as we wanted to but we did enjoy oursleves and will do it again, next one more planning and farther out, maybe in August. All others please add commets or stories.
