It just seems that a high level Wizard who takes the Archmage PrC to become an even better spellcaster would then be nerfed by having to go back to the Wizard class and get it up to epic level before gaining epic bonus feats for his class.Crothian said:However, in the spirit of House Rules, you can just house rule the Archmage class to 10 levels and then just tack on epic progression after that.

wolff96 said:Best bet would probably be to introduce an Epic PrC called the "Epic Archmage" (or whatever) and require one or two High Arcana abilities as part of the pre-reqs. Or, if you don't like that, then simply create the epic PrC for really high level wizards.
