He knows just about anything there is to know about his craft. He has seen nearly everything in his many years of adventuring, collected many treasures and created a few as well. He is a tall human; his eyes are red and his skin almost transparent from his many years of study in his underground hideout. He cares little for how others perceive him, his only goal is to gain more magic. He doesn’t perceive as sentient creatures that he can wipe out with but a single magic missile, and doesn’t go to any great lengths to spare them when they get in the way. He gains no joy from killing them, but they are literally ants he steps on to walk down the path. He is beyond intelligent as a result of his magical items. He can see a way through every challenge without fail, and has an immense knowledge of the arcane arts. Physically, while lacking in strength Tairec makes up for that with his amazing agility and toughness. He is also extremely wise, though few consult him as a sage due to the difficulty of finding him.</p><p>At any one time Tairec has a cloud of Ioun stones orbiting his head, most of which he has improved himself to add to their ability. He has little need for weapons, but does carry a magical crossbow that never runs out of bolts and an icy electric-charged dagger with him. He also wears a variety of rings, talismans and other items to aid his own ability.</p><p>Tairec bases himself from his hidden tower, sited in a hollowed-out stalactite. This contains all of his libraries and laboratories, including a scrying chamber. It has been magically warded against scrying and teleportation, the only way in for anyone but Tairec is a portal in a spherical chamber deep underground, which requires a special password, <em>Faeilmortdantegodenboiltoes</em> to enter. He has programmed a spell to take him there if he omes into mortal danger.</p><p>Among all his ioun stones there can occasionally be spotted Craht, Tairec’s beholderkin familiar.
