(Anaet) Isikurs' gaze falls upon you, his eyes the essence of the evening sky at twilight. "Anaet your goddess has deemed you worthy of this message and has thus sent me to deliver it." He squares his body towards you and speaks, his eyes unblinking. "A portal was created on the Prime by the mortals there. This portal was, as you well know, immediately under our lady's all-knowing gaze. Unexplicably, however, her view of the portal was cut short. It is a mystery and a threat to the safety of Ianua and all of her followers if she is unable to see the comings and goings of planar creatures." His voice becomes very somber. "It is your duty, as children of our matron, to discover the source of this as quickly as possible. The safety of our plane and many others rests upon your shoulders." ************************************************************ (Cho) The spirits part before you, their confusion is very apparent. When you reach the front near the gate, a tall aasimar brandishes his weapon at you. "Halt. Come no closer or you will be dealt with severely." For a moment, he looks at you with a scrutinizing gaze and then breathes a sigh of relief. "Forgive me," he says quickly, "but there are 100-fold more spirits here today than were planned for. What is it I can do for you?" He stands before you at the gate and, although he seems friendly, he does not move to a friendly posture. He lowers his blade after he realizes you are not a spirit, but is still tense and you have no doubts that the blade could be brought to bear quickly, if need be.
