Epic Dragon Disiple?

DeBhaal

First Post
Yeah, yeah. I know that the progression ends at lvl10 in the PrC, but what about taking the Half-Dragon even farther?

Say, enabling him to trasmute into a Dragon at will. At PrC lvl20 or something?

Ideas welcome, if anyone has any, or has solid veiws on why it shouldnt be allowed.

I woul throw in a couple ideas I have, but Im out of time on the net, so Ill check in tomorrow.

Thanks in advance!

Well, it goes against what epic classes do, perhaps. What they do is gain some bonuse that are gained at an interval (so many levels) and they gain epic feats every so many levels. Here's what I would do as an example.

11
12 Gain Spell slot
13 Nat Armor +1
14 Gain Spell slot
15 Epic Feat
16 Gain Spell slot, Nat Armor +1
17
18 Gain Spell slot
19 Nat Armor +1
20 Gain Spell slot, Epic Feat

And then you create feats that gain the powers you want. For instance one that allows you to use the breathe weapon more then once. One that allows you to aquire other spell like abilities of the dragon you are. One grand daddy feat (ie lots of prerequites) that allow you to turn into a dragon.

I know i shouldn't compare it to the druid... Perhaps it should gain Dragon wildshape (sort of) at level 11, allowing it access to medium (or large) and smaller dragon forms 1/day. This ability's uses per day should increase as it levels. It should also allow the ability to take the gargantuan and collosaul feats, except it would have different prereq's.

But this is just an idea.
