Finally a new post! :heh: I'm sorry I've been so slow about updating this thread, but big things have happened in my life since my last post: I've become the proud father of a little baby girl! Here's a nasty, demonic creation to celebrate my first born ;) : Mosquito Horror Gargantuan Magical Beast (Chaotic, Evil, Extraplanar) Hit Dice: 25d10+250 (390 hp) Initiative: +11 (+7 Dex, +4 Improved Initiative) Speed: 20 ft. / climb 20 ft. / fly 40 ft. Blood Drain: A mosquito horror that establishes a pin against a living opponent starts sucking blood from the victim, draining 2d6 CON immediately, and 2d6 CON for each round the pin is maintained. Wide Vision: Mosquito horrors have big, multi-facetted eyes on top of their heads, granting them a +4 bonus to spot checks. Since they can look in several directions at once, attackers do not get any bonus for flanking a mosquito horror. Mosquito horrors look pretty much like ordinary mosquitoes, with the obvious exception of their size and the fact that they have two pairs of wings. As a natural consequence, they are often assumed to be some kind of giant vermin, but they’re not. Nor are they fiends. Most likely they are a little of both; the result of some demonic breeding program. Mosquito horrors are incredibly strong and surprisingly agile for their size. They have two pairs of gossamer wings operating independently, giving them perfect flight manoeuvrability. Design notes: Mosquito horrors started out as titanic, insectile stirges. I’ve stretched the rules a bit, using those templates on a stirge, but not too badly by my standards… ;) I’ve changed the way the stirge attaches itself to a victim a little. The new attach method isn't quite as powerful, but I think it’s better suited for a gargantuan creature. Since this monster perhaps complies even less with the rules than my other creations, I thought it was just as well to present it as if it was a "new monster" rather than a "templated monster". This way I also got to give it advancement options, something the titanic template doesn't normally allow.
