Epic feats and prestige class prereqs

I was just curious if anyone would allow an epic version of a similar regular feat subsitute for a prestige class prereq. Like Archmage requires the feat of skill focus:spell craft. Well if i'm already 20+ lvl and I can get the epic skill focus would you let a PC use that to satisfy the prereq or make him take the regular version as kind of a penalty to get the prestige class to offset it's bonuses.

In most cases (note, most, not all), I enforce the prereqs. Generally, you have to meet the requirements for a prestige class because it is an inherent design that keeps you from becoming to powerful too quickly. In a solo game, I doubt I would care one way or the other, so I'd more than likely allow it. In a normal game, and in the case of the Archmage, I'd stick with the prereq's.
