Hello all,
I have finally gotten a change to see the ELH in its finished form, although it was mearly a quick skim to make sure it was worth the cost in trees.
Looks pretty good, would take much more than a skiming to truely evalutated, but the thing I did get to see was the art.
As with all art, some is good, some is bad, some it trival, and some important. The important of course being the iconics.
Krusk, our lovable barbarian, seems the have changed very little with his rising power. Relying on his own personal strengths, there is little outward sign of his level. Overall a good picture.
The years have not been as kind to Devis as they have to others, his age is quite appearent but not in a bad way. His light hair has gone completely white now, and much longer. The way he looks, the way he carries himself, he has not lost his charismatic presence, very dashing. I find it sexy. Also a good picture.
Jozan, has a noble look. Decked out in his armor he stands straight and tall, not much really to say about Jozan, he looks as I would expect him to look. Good quality artwork, just lacking emotion.
Little ol' me next. While the picture itself is nice, I don't find the image of me flattering. Something in it is giving my hair a purplish glow, and it just doesn't look right. But the armor and the dire tiger (Mr. Wiskers) to my back are most impressive.
Tordek is the proper dwarf, the look is perfect, The armor finely crafted and the brilliant energy axe looks deadly. Good art
Although the picture is from behing, Ember appears to have finally compelety the gender reassignment therapy showing no signs of feminity. Other than that, a decent picture. Ember is another whos ablity comes from within and doesn't have alot of impressive equipment to show.
Alhandra's picture is also decent, neither looking really good, or really bad. I find her form fitting golden armor very sexy but I would feel that no matter what she wore, or didn't wear.
She looks much more feminne and less butch now that she has moved away from her looks straight out of paladin boot camp.
Solviniss finnally gets a good picture, looking very impressive, and quite charming. The poor guy really deserved it.
Both the Psionic Iconics look good, and they will have to forgive me it's late and I cannot place their names, very sorry. Alot of energy in the shots, I don't really like the whole crystaline look but it's the chosen then and it's done nicely.
Poor Lidda got what I consider the worst image. It makes her look old, and just, well, just wrong.
Hennet is still as charming as ever, and very powerful looking with a collection of Ioun stones flying about his head and other assorted magic wears. Good picture, and a good look.
Mialee looks as though she is ready for war. Image captured in mid flight he hangs in the air as though it was completely natural. She has a look of true power to her, and it appears as though that power is going to get used on someone rather quickly.
