Epic illusionists got the shaft!

Checked out the epic level handbook. The epic versions of listen and spot both have a DC 80 to automatically defeat illusions with auditory and visual components, respectively. No will save required. Since these are two very popular skills to have and max out, it seems that the epic level illusionist is at a severe disadvantage compared to epic versions of other classes (most notably, other wizards). I hope I am wrong. Maybe I missed something. Any thoughts?

Epic illusionist feats!
*Increase spot and listen DC to automatically penetrate by your caster level (this is an insight bonus)
*Affect even undead, constructs, etc. with your illusions (they are no longer mind-affecting maybe?)

Don't be focusing so much on combat anyway. Illusionists are already at a severe disadvantage in battle since so many things are immune to their primary spells.

It shouldn't be a flat DC, but should vary according to the level of the Spell...

So a 0-level Illusion has DC 80, give the higher level spells DCs of 80 + (spell level * 10)

Illusionist are screwed anyway as most of their spells allow two saving throws, instead of just one...
