Epic Leadership

Does anyone know if Epic Leadership provides a -new- follower in addition to the one the character has from its prerequisite, Leadership? Or can the character have only one follower?

No.

If you want more cohorts, you need to take regular leadership more than once, and probably epic leadership to make them cooler.
