Hello and Thanks in advanced for any input, I have a epic lvl game that has basicly got the concept for the end of the world sorta thing unless it is stopped. Very basic nothing special so far. I have had four long time gamers, get to gather and bring me a concept for their characters, and they want to basicly play the four horsemen (Death, Famine, Pestilence, and War). And they actually came up with an excellent reason why they were who they were and why they were trying to stop the end. I am playing the Greyhawk setting and apparently they were all nastey in there day at all different time 1000 years ago 100, but at one point they wished for immortality and they worshipped Wee Jas. Well she said ok I grant you immortalty and in her own way she did, they were all slain shortly there after and them being her domain bestowed appon them the titles and set them aside. And know with these catastrophes that are happening and basic bring about the end, she has sent them out to stop it becouse it is not in her timeing and she believes that is something or someone else messing with her plans. And that is their concept for the most part, which is not bad, and I have decied to allow it, well knowing the actions that others will take and how the NPC's will enteract with them, can anyone say hunted, lol. But with my warnings they still want to play it. What I am trying to think of is how to throttle them becouse they are experinced power gamers and if I am not to carefull they will ride all over me. I would like to know if there is a template for them I should be aware of becouse if I can at least limit there lvl's. I can controll them but if let them play out the designed theme epic lvl characters I have a feeling they will be hard to take down legitly, and I really do not like to pull the DM your just dead card. Any help will be appreciated
