The one that ended up tangling with the now-unconscious supervisor seems to have taken the worse of the blow, banging his head on a stair and is also unconscious.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">While network servers abound in the room, there are just three access terminals. Two have shattered screens, but the other terminal seems fine. In the supervisors office, a bank of monitors displays many areas obviously in the building. People working, a few workers sitting on coffee breaks, a group of police swat members descending on Sanjay in a lab, several police units surrounding the EPIC van outside on the ground; just daily, routine stuff flicks by on the monitors.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">You realize that this isn't a communication center. It's a security monitoring center.</span></p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">Sanjay</span></strong></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">The robot seems to be processing your command, trying to decide which directive takes precedence as you create your igloo of steel around yourself and the two women.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">The assistant coughs and is unable to speak in her current state, but waves at you to indicate she'll be alright. Vida still is unconscious and you don't really notice any change in her condition, for the worse or better.</span></p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">Straightjacket</span></strong></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">One of the younger police says, "We sure could use your help! Some mutant terrorist ha..."</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">"Be quiet about things you know nothing about, Beno!" orders the glaring sergeant in charge. "It's nothing but a minor matter of a disgruntled employee holed up in a lab. You have no jurisdiction over private matters."</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">The younger officer, along with a good many others, look good an rightly confused, while others continue to train their weapons on you.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">"Now, in the interest of international relations, we'll let you off with a warning for dangerous driving," the segeant scolds. "But you'll have to leave the area immediately."</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">Your dad whispers from behind you, "Terrorists give <em>us</em> jurisdiction, if you remember anything from your courses."
