Message: <blockquote data-quote="DreamChaser" data-source="post: 890612" data-attributes="member: 1190">this idea reminds me of the dragon/avangion metamorphosis from Athas/Dark Sun.  You gain power in a class/classes and use that to transform into a demi-god (which is pretty powerful in a world with no gods).Dragon and avangion both had separate progressions that included appearance changes.  It took 10 levels (and some major sacrifices--like 100 people per new level for the dragon) to reach full transformation and full power but for the most part they were treated like PrCs are now.  In 3e you'd get HP, Skills, Feats, Epic Attack and Save bonuses, physical changes, and new abilites.I like your progression.  It sounds like an interesting addition to a campaign.DC</blockquote>
