I hought it would be fun to open a thread for people to post some of their epic spell ideas. I'd like to see what people can do with the new spell system. I'm particlularly interested if anyone has ideas on converting the old arcane age 10th - 12th level spells as well as Elven high magic spells (and no I don't care if those spells are possible on Faerun, this is just theoreticla, and can always be used on other worlds). I will start by posting a couple of my own spells.
Resiliant Weave
Abjuration
Spellcraft DC: 50
Components: V, S, XP
Casting Time: 100 days, 11 minutes
Range: Touch
Target: One creature or object of 2000 lb or less
Duration: Permanent
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No
To Develop: 450,000 gold; 9 days; 18,000 XP
Seed: Ward (DC 14)
Factors: Immunity to Dispel Effects and disenchantment (Ad Hoc +50), Permanent (x5)
Mitigating Factors: Increase casting time (-220), burn 5000 xp (-50)
This spell strengthens the weave around the target, rendering the target creature and any of his gear (carried or worn) or any single object (weighing up to 2000 lbs) immune to any spell, spell-like ability, or supernatural ability which dispels magical effects on the target, even the "almighty" Mordainkainen's Disjunction. In the case of epic spells using the dispel seed, the caster must succeed at a caster level check against the Resiliant Weave. Even if succesful, the resiliant weave itself is unaffected, though any magic it protects is subject to the dispelling as normal (though such objects are still immune to being permanently disenchanted). This spell doen't prevent such spells from being used to counterspell your spells unless the range on the spell being cast is personal.
Summon Great Wyrm Paragon Prismatic Dragon
Conjuration (Summoning)
Spellcraft DC: 94
Components: V, S, XP
Casting Time: 1 round
Range: 75 ft.
Effect: One summoned creature
Duration: 20 rounds (D)
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No
Development: 846,000 gold; 17 days; 33,840 XP
Seed: Summon (DC 14)
Factors: 1 round casting time (+18), CR 78 creature (+152), Summon creature other than outsider (+10)
Mitigating Factors: burn 10,000 XP (-100)
This spell summons the greatest of all creatures, a paragon, great wyrm, Prismatic Dragon. Even the gods fear this spell, as the creature it summons is far greater in power than they.
