(Doesn`t this belong the the House Rules?) When I flipped through the Epic Level Handbook, I found the Epic Wildshape Feat, and I noticed sursprised that Druids would gain the supernatural abilities of the extra forms. So I thought about this matter, too, and came up with a similar feat for a shifter. Maybe it would be okay to make it apply to only a limited number of types, if this seems to powerful. The alternate feat, applying this feat to only one form (or type) but gaining all abilities (including spellike), has some weaknesses: If you have access to more than one form and take more than one of these feats, you might gain just to much - remember how many times a day you can use some spellike abilites- oh, my Balor spellikes are up? Just switch to Solar, I stil have some thousands there. - What, i rolled a 4 for my next Breath Weapon use? Just change to another dragon. I am not sure if this is really to powerful, but compare it so some other prestige classes, that allow you to access special abilties from a single creature (maybe the Dragon Disciple, but I think there are some more) - you would gain all the benefits of such a class with a single feat, without taking 10 levels. I guess this is to much for a epic feat. Only gaining the superantural of a single type would bacically mean that, in the long run, the shifter class would be useless. (You can already take a feat to make shifting a move equivalent action, and you rarely need more 10 shifts a day... So, who cares for evershifting form? And the type change is not really that powerful...) Mustrum Ridcully
