Greetings,
I noticed that the Player's handbook does not specify the weight of gear for sizes other than Medium/Small.
This seems weird since they actually take the time to specify the weight of Armor for other sizes (from Tiny to Colossal - PHB p123) !!!!!!
Now, since the rules says (PHB page 129) that small gear weights 1/4 of medium sized gear, should I safely assume that there is a 4 factor for each sizes - like this :
1/16 - Tiny
1/4 - Small
x1 - Medium
x4 - Large
x16 - Huge
x64 - Gargantuan
x256 - Colossal
Using this table, a Ration (1 lb.) would weight 16 lb. for a Huge sized creature/character, and 1/16 lb for a Tiny one.
Note: For some reason, the Armor weight table does not follow that progression:
1/10 - Tiny
1/2 - Small
x1 - Medium
x2 - Large
x4 - Huge
x8 - Gargantuan
x16 - Colossal
Is there any official word on this somewhere ???
