Russ danced like a chicken? *sniff* That would've been beautiful to see. However, I did get to see my girlfriend (the talented artist Jessica Jones) dance like Britney Spears, thanks to the evil machinations of the WotC "Wide World of Games" physical challenge. On tape, it looks like she wants to kill that man for making her dance. Anyway, a few highlights from that secret rendezvous dinner (I left before the serious drinking began): * I got to kiss Eric's wife. Mwahahahaha. (on the hand, like a gentleman; she called me a "charmer!") * Eric's wife was delighted to see Jessie's artwork, which made Jessie's day. * Nemmerle got told . . . well, I'll let you wait and see his new sig when he gets back. But we do have a very nice photo of both Russ and Eric making the same hand gesture. * I was initially confused by Marc (CreativeMountain) until I realized he's one of the mellowest guys in the world. Very cool, and probably a danged good GM. * I got to sample the delicious (and non-alcoholic) root beer at the Water Street Brewery. Good stuff. * Russ actually looked alive. The next day, after staying up late and drinking . . . well, at the Mystic Eye booth, he spent most of his time sleeping. :) p.s., After meeting most of the publishers who frequent these boards, I realize that I like them all, and I feel compelled to buy their products. *whimper* Liking people and having friends is expensive. But hey, they're nice enough guys to deserve it.
