Message: <blockquote data-quote="jester47" data-source="post: 1353968" data-attributes="member: 2238">IMC Erky got tacked up (literally nailed to the wall...) by the troop of hobgoblins that showed up after Balsags request when most of the goblin warriors and the king got killed by the PCs.  Heres the scoop:The PCs Killed the king and then decided to return to town.  Well they were leveling up so they were gone for some time.  In the meantime Balsag has declared himself King of the citadel, and called for aid from a troop of hobgoblins.  The hobgoblins tipped the balance in favor of the goblins and they killed/chased off the kobolds.  Thats when they found Erky, and so decided that non-goblins looking to make trouble (the PCs) needed a warning, and so they nailed Erky to the wall arms out two feet above the ground.The PC upon returning did not notice the Hobgoblin scouts watching the entrance (which is covered with ice cause its the dead of winter, and Oakhurst is in the Faerunian North between Yarter and Everlund...) and found that someone was redecorating the place with kobold skulls.  They entered the room where they had found meepo, and surprised a bunch of hobgoblins who were explaining to thier leader (shouts and such) that they did not think the invaders from before were going to come back, and that the silly trap that Balsag had planned was a waste of time.  Thats when the PCs (who can't speak a lick of Goblin) kicked in the door and started cutting people in half.  Well, the trap worked like a charm (less 14 hobgoblins) and now they are surrounded by a bunch O hobgoblins.  Who will let them out one door wich leads right to Balsag and his bodygaurd who will hand them over to Belek as per the agreement...Aaron.</blockquote>
