Errors in Crystal Master Prestige Class

All of the costs of the thrid eyes seem to be double the cost they should be.

I think they calculated the cost for items that do not take up a space but third eyes do take up an item space.

Am I missing something of did they just miscalculate the costs?

R&D claims that Third Eyes take up a new slot, and so require double the gp cost.

Of course, Skins take up a new slot, and don't. WotC_Mark Jindra complained about that one.

I thought they used the headband slot. Let's face it, it goes in the exact same place, doesn't it?

Good point about skins, though. One might argue that they take the shirt slot.

Just to make matters worse, these things weren't made 100% clear in the PsiH. WotC_Mark is planning on fixing this in December, with his items article (by creating a graphic visual chart).

IMO, third eyes were intended to take the headband slot. It's difficult to use a Third Eye Absorb if you're also wearing a Headband of Intellect - no one said that the ray phased through cloth. WotC_Mark agrees with this, but R&D don't.

We also wondered about skins. Do they take up their own slot, or do they take up a shirt slot?

Since it was playtested with the Master Third Eyes taking up slots, you should cut their prices in half for your campaign.
