Escape from Zanzer's Dungeon??

Back in the day my cousin had an old black box with a red dragon and a warrior on the front of it. It was my introduction to Dungeons and Dragons. Within the box was a staggering assortment of goodies and fun was had by all.

Until that bastard Zanzer came along......

So I want revenge.

Has anyone done or seen a conversion of this? I'd like to take it for another spin.

What sort of conversion are you looking for? I have the same Black box and might be able to help.

The way the adventure was written out is unlike anything I've seen. It's layout was almost like a "pick your own path" adventure. I've actually got the box, but I'm looking for a more traditional writup of the adventure.

A 3rd edition conversion would be nice, but if you (or anyone) has a standard style write-up of the adventure, I'd be interested.

I've got that... somewhere... that adventure taught me the rules of D&D, which is no mean feat considering how many people think D&D is something that requires a group of intelligent people to explain to newbies.

I have no idea where in my archives I might find it, however... sniff...
