When going etheral (casting etheral Jaunt) what happens to the light source you are carrying (magical or otherwise). Can other see it while your etheral?

When going etheral (casting etheral Jaunt) what happens to the light source you are carrying (magical or otherwise).

it goes with you, but become ineffective. etheral jaunt says sight and hearing are 'limited' to 60 ft., but the DMG specifies an etheral creature can only see and hear in a 60 foot radius (not limited or increased by a light source or low-light or darkvision)

Can other see it while your etheral?

no. Ethereal creatures are completely invisible, inaudible, insubstantial, and scentless to creatures on the Material Plane (the normal world). Even most magical attacks have no effect on them. See invisibility and true seeing reveal ethereal creatures.
