Visit my site (see my sig) to download replacements for the standard stat block style sheets. I customized the core stat block to include "class features" on character stat blocks, and "racial features" on both character and monster stat blocks. This is particularly helpful if you've been entering new monsters and have been frustrated that the custom data you type on on the Special frame (under "Other" -- which I use to enter SAs or SQs that aren't on the core master list, and any other info I like) doesn't output in the stat block. So for example, the stuff in bold below didn't report in the old stat block: Kir-Lanan Rogue: Male Gargoyle, Kir-Lanan Monstrous Humanoid4/Rog3; Medium Monstrous Humanoid ; HD 4d8 (Monstrous Humanoid), 3d6 (Rogue); hp 31; Init +2; Spd 30, Fly, Good 90; AC 15; Atk +7 base melee, +8 base ranged; +7 (1d4+1, 2 Claws); +9 (1d6, Shortbow, Masterwork); SA: Spell-like abilities; Class Features: Monstrous Humanoid: Rogue: Traps, Medium Rogue weapon proficiencies, Rogue weapon proficiencies, Light armor proficiency, Sneak Attack +2d6, Evasion, Uncanny Dodge (Dex bonus to AC); Racial Features: Negative Energy Touch (Su) 3/day, Fort DC 12, 2d6 hp + 1 temp STR dam., Harmed by Positive Energy, Rebuke or Command Undead (Sp); AL CE; SV Fort +2, Ref +11, Will +4; STR 12, DEX 14, CON 10, INT 11, WIS 9, CHA 11. Possessions: Weapons: Shortbow, Masterwork. Armor: Studded leather, Masterwork. Magic: Potion: Cat's Grace (4); Wondrous: Stone of alarm. Skills: Bluff +7, Climb +5, Escape Artist +5, Hide +9, Intimidate +3, Listen +10, Move Silently +9, Open Lock +5, Search +9, Sense Motive +6, Spot +6, Use Magic Device +10. Feats: Blind-Fight, Flyby Attack, Lightning Reflexes. Since I don't actually know the language and just did some copying and pasting from the character sheet.xls file, I don't know how to "test" for class features and skip a class that has none. In the example above where it says "Monstrous Humanoide: Rogue: ..." that's an example where if I knew what I was doing I would test and see if the Monstrous Humanoid "class" actually had any "class features" -- and if not I'd skip reporting them. Overall, though, I think this makes the stat block quite a bit more useful. Anything I think is overkill or obvious (weapon/armor proficiency, etc.) I can easily just delete (much easier to delete something than to add it, IMO). Anyway, enjoy, instructions are in the zip file on my site.
