Look at Einstein and his inability to do simple things because his mind was elsewhere. I like how Carter is supposed to represent the average Joe , the fish out of water. He holds his own with the high IQ folk.I love some of his comments like "its a ray that kills so why not call it a death ray"I do think in this epsiode they went a little to far with the humor over Carter not knowing how an IQ test is measured that gave me pause.Personally I am not impressed with the whole iQ mensa BS. Piaget wheh he developed the first IQ test used as a measure to find out how well a child learns to spot any diffculties. Its been turned into a kind of must have menality. Parents get bent out of shape if there children test average its like they failed somehow. In the long run a high IQ is only worth what you choose to do with it. There are planty of high IQ people delivering pizza and living in there parents basements because they could not make it in the real world.
