IMO the correct thing to do is to do is exactly what was done, follow through on the house rules and then talk about the way the communication was handled and smooth over the rough edges. Who knows what she was really upset about, she handled the situation poorly. If she has a history of handling things like that poorly that's one thing, if not then some latitude can be afforded and the real issue probed. Friends cut other friends slack from time to time, life gets to us all.I had a situation where a player demanded something from the group or he would walk several years ago. One of the PC's died, and that PC carried an artifact from a previous character this person had played earlier. He immediately demanded that the party hand over the artifact to his character as he was conveniently playing his diseased characters "best friend", or he would leave. There was a long history of issues with this particular player and I told that person to pack up his belongings and leave, he wasn't welcome back. But I stress, this was after a long history of issues and all the other players were firmly on my side about the situation. Again, if she is coming from a history of negative interaction, then yeah, maybe you have a bad fit, otherwise working with it leads to group trust and cohesiveness.</blockquote>
