Got my issue of Dragon today ... gotta say, some of the info is really good :) But I did have a few problems: 1) Class Acts. I like the article ... but a Class Acts article for every class right in a row? That seems a little overkill, don't you think? 2) The Samurai vs. Knight bit. It was okay ... but I didn't really get much out of it that I couldn't have found in other books that I have. 3) The comics. Ugh ... right in the middle? 4) The Graphic Design. This was my biggest problem in the entire magazine. Speaking as a designer myself, pgs. 78-110 have some serious design flaws, especially in regards to the titles ... "Treasures of the Dwarven Holds" is the worse (Why take up an entire page with a title practically?) I was very disappointed with this, as Dragon has always been a well designed magazine and this just seems like a serious downgrade IMHO. On the good side though, I liked this month's Silicon Sorcery and the stuff on Demon Stone ... and, though I didn't care for the Samurai vs. Knight bit, the design was good :) I also liked the inclusion of the Cyclops race ... will this be a regular feature? I sure hope so :) If I had to grade it, I'd give it a C ... if the design was better, I'd grade it higher :)
