Thankfully for Kevin, or perhaps for Ira, or maybe for both of them, Ira doesn't take the command too seriously. "Uh huh, uh huh, right on." He claps Kevin on the back with his hand as he passes by into the crowd of his party. Twenty minutes later Ira is pressed between two beautiful women in the master bedroom, the only room other than his office that's closed off to the party. One of the two is dressed as a sexy policewoman and the other looks exactly like Alicia Silverstone's character from Clueless - whether this is a Halloween costume at all is unclear. Ira's been ignoring the beeping of his pager for the last five minutes or so: It could be Kevin or one of a dozen other people trying to find where he's disappeared to. "Ira," says the woman in the fake police uniform, her lips against his ear while he bites at her neck, "do you have any E?" The other one, whom Ira is vaguely aware of as a close friend of the first, doesn't seem too comfortable with the idea of introducing ecstasy to the mix. Immediately Ira knows that she's going to be the object of his attentions tonight - they don't know it yet, but Ira's drawn to any sign of inexperience or innocence like a moth to a flame. "Yeah, one sec." He pushes the women toward the bed before indicating that they wait and heading back out to the party. He closes the door behind him and scans the crowd. Where the hell's a dealer when you need one? A moment later he remembers. Right, the balcony. He circumnavigates the bulk of the crowd on his way to the sliding glass doors on the opposite side of the room. He steps into the night air and looks both ways for Kevin.
