Alamar smiled, "Besides ... it'll be good to have some cooking that is made straight from the heart. Meals made in town, unless you make them yourself, just don't have the feel of cooking made in a home. That and I might persuade Temari's mother to try out a few recipes I've picked up in the past few months." He grinned a bit, "Though not all of them. I know of a handful that require exotic ingredients that are rather ... dangerous to acquire. Anyway, yes, we should get going, any exposure to the Shadowlands can be bad for mortals." He looked toward the soldiers he'd hired, and noted that they'd wisely hung back during the battle. But, they had earned some of their keep, a few zombies had been dispatched by them. He was seriously going to have to talk to his old grizzled friend later about what he was. That and he'd have to educate these men on the real facts about the Anathema and their real role in Creation. He did however have to give them credit, they seemed ready, and were still here, despite having seen displays of power that they believed would bring Oblivion. Perhaps they were steadier than he thought or perhaps they were just in shock. "We should get going. I'm not even sure if Exalts are immune to the taint that the Shadowlands can bring. I do not wish to become the first, or possibly the latest Wyld Touched Exalt."
