Exalted Sorcery Question

Sorrowdusk

First Post
Just a thing thats bugging me here. I'm trying to make a fresh Solar (Twlilight Caste) and I'm taking Terrestrial Sorcery Charm. Ok. But NOW....how do I learn spells? I mean I know the fluff, but I mean mechanically how many Build Points, Bonus Points, or XP would it cost? Can you take spells like charms? That is to say when choosing your 10 Charms, choose Terrestrial Sorcery as one, and then pick some number of spells up to that # limit within the Terrestrial Circle?

:hmm:

If so, what page/paragraph is it actually on?
I gleamed from a random board that one way of building one off the bat is to take

-Terrestrial Circle
-3 Spells
-3 Charms (to not suck in combat, some persistant defense would be good)
-3 Charms of whatever your personal schtick is.

That's exactly how I did it when I created a Twilight sorcerer- spells are charms. IIRC it was:

Dodge like Crazy
More Dodgr
Archery
More Archery (like I'm going to get in melee willingly)
Social Fu
Academics Fu
Terrestrial Sorcery
Spell
Spell
Spell

Of course that was first edition, so YMMV.
