Excel Template for Saving Throws

High-level characters tend to accumulate a lot of miscellaneous bonuses - from items, special rewards, obscure class features, and so on. I've noticed that the players tend to forget about those bonuses, even if they are written right on their character sheets. They're simply not visible enough.

Here's my first attempt to solve this: an auto-calculating excel file that keeps track of all different saving throw bonuses. I'd like to see some feedback on how I could possibly improve it. Two bonus types I have there are non-standard: Divine and Ward. Divine replaces Sacred/Profane, and Ward is granted IMC by spells such as protection from evil.

Seems overly complicated to me. I looked it over, and I don't have the faintest idea how to use it. I mean, the bottom part's pretty easy - just plug in bonuses where they apply - but the top part has me all confuzzled.

A few suggestions:

- Add instructions
- Highlight the cells where the person needs to enter data
- Add a random number generator so you can come up with actual save results

Software always seems logical to those who make it. ;)

I will add the instructions, but till then, it basically works like this:

You start by entering your character's Dex, Con, and Wis scores in the top-right part of the sheet.

Next, you input the class data. For example, if you are a fighter 4/wizard 2, you would enter the class names and levels, and then check the appropriate "good" saves for each class (Fort for fighter, Will for wizard).

The rest of the bonuses should just be entered as appropriate. I also probably want to protect the formula fields so that data cannot be entered in them accidentally.

RNG is a great idea!
