Experimental Random Adventure Seed Generator

First Post
I've been trying to make use of the new Random Page function of the Wikidot.Com wiki software to make a Random Adventure Seed Generator for the Arcana Wiki.

I have a bunch of ideas on how to use the Random Page function for more complex stuff - random characters, complex plot lines, even random campaign settings. But first, I want to get some feedback on this relatively basic script. So, what do you think of this generator?

Hi there,

I really like the idea of the random generator. I am not too familiar with the Arcana Wiki at all. I was wondering if there was a way to see what Adventure seeds have already been written up.

Also, why the limit to just 3 seeds? Would there be a way for a user to change that to a different number instead of being limited to 3 each time?

So far, only the three listed below on the same page exist. This is a fairly new feature. Though I do hope others will add adventure seeds of their own...

I choose three links because I was inspired by a "random campaign setting generator" which used three random GURPS sourcebooks. But if you think that using more keywords would be a useful feature, I could build something similar to the setup which I am using for the (still experimental) Random Character Generator.

Ahh, that's a very good point. It is a new feature that will only grow and improve as time goes on.

I was only curious. That's all. However, now I'm a bit confused by the mention of keywords. Is the number of keywords what determines the number of links that get displayed?

I will try to visit the wiki later on to see the new seeds that have been added. Thanks for the work.
