Experts 3.5

Skirmisher Publishing is pleased to announce the release of Experts v.3.5.

Experts v.3.5 is a thoroughly updated, expanded, and revised version of Experts, Skirmisher Publishing's first and most successful title, and is dedicated to developing the Expert non-player character class, which is only briefly described in the DMG. In the process of bringing this book into conformance with the latest edition of the d20 rules, we have also incorporated many exciting new features and concepts. These include:

  • Improved layout and design
  • Flavor text from dozens of literary sources
  • The Specialist, a new basic character class
  • Many new skills, raising the total to over 100
  • Convergence Tasks, activities that can be accomplished as the result of having ranks in two or more skills, allowing characters to perform specialized functions without inundating the game with obscure skills (e.g. smelting)
  • A greatly expanded section of nearly two dozen relevant feats
  • Updated and improved versions of the Guild Master and Militia Leader NPC classes
  • The Spellcrafter, a new prestige class which allows its members to gain specialized magical abilities that they can use to enhance their mundane abilities
  • An expanded appendix of Expert work areas
  • Over 30 expert "classes" divided into five broad metaclasses, including craftsmen, entertainers, professionals, scholars, and tradesmen

Experts v.3.5 is available from Skirmisher Publishing, Amazon, and at game-retailers everywhere.

Working on Amazon issue

Amazon is working to correct the "out of print" issue, there was some confusion between "Experts", which IS out of print, and "Experts v.3.5", which is not. They actually have it in their inventory, so (now that Labor Day is over and done) hopefully it will be available sometime soon (hours...days...)

Thanks,

Skirmisher Publishing

Very spiffy book. Thank you for making the skills OGC as well as the Convergence Tasks. They are the high point of the new edition IMO.

The only thing I found to be a problem is the missing information from section 15- the book itself (so that publishers know what to put in their section 15 when using the OGC).

:( it's not available as a pdf.

LOL! So many people moan and complain about how some products are pdf only. This is the first time I recall someone doing the opposite.

Do you have Experts?

No, and I want to get it. But all my bookshelves are full to overflowing, which is why I prefer pdfs of products. Print them out and place them in a either a binder if it's really long or in a report cover that holds 100 pages.

Er, doesn't a printed out version actually take up more space than book version? (Since computer paper tends to be a bit thick to soak up the ink and generally one sided...)

I just got Experts a few months ago,I have a limted buget so will there stuff on the web-site that I can get so I do not have to buy other copy of the book?
