It didn't have to, though. They could have modified damage so that it didn't rise as quickly as it currently does and bound accuracy. Hit points wouldn't need to balloon in that case. The ballooning of hit points isn't because of bounded accuracy, but rather due to the decision to balance combat around resource attrition.</p><p></p><p>Again, not necessarily.
