They’re very similar and the game’s simplicity (perhaps it’s main selling point) remains intact through both. They can be combined and, if you have more than 5 players, it can be necessary. In all cases you have wacky sight gags (mostly involving cats) and a whole lot of gross (but humorous) humor.</p><p></p><p>The decks aren’t spectacularly thick and, because of this, play can take place in as little as 15 minutes. Get a group of friends together and go crazy. The laughter during our <span</p><p>class="SpellE">playthrough actually brought play to a halt on a number of occasions!<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>After learning what few rules there are play becomes nearly visceral and increasingly quick allowing for more games in a short time.</span</p><p></p><p></p><p>The only drawback I can point towards is also its greatest strength; simplicity.<span</p><p>style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Don’t come into this with the same mindset you use to win a game of Magic: the Gathering or even <span class="SpellE">Fluxx</span>; you’ll be sorely disappointed. For a fun game to play with friends, family, even the kids (non NSFW deck please) whip</p><p> this thing out for 15 minutes or so but, for anything else, grab a game with a little more grit (virtually any other game).</span</p><p></p><p></p><p>As far as pure fun goes Exploding Kittens gets at least a 9/10. If it's just you and the guys (or girls) feel free to play through the NSFW deck but be warned; it gets really blue in ways that I don't think ENWorld wants me to describe here.
