When a new (to 5e) setting property is released, DM's Guild gets fair-game access to develop everything else you could possibly want for the setting. Keith Baker is already working on a SECOND (and BIGGER) 5e expansion to Eberron (If you haven't already checked out Morgrave Miscellany, I highly recommend it to all Eberron fans). Exploring Eberron should be here any week now – the pandemic among other issues have delayed the earlier designated March release, but not so much that it shouldn't be ready soon. And there's a LOT of high quality material on there for the Realms, Ravenloft, Eberron, and even for Ravnica. I expect more interesting content for Theros and any other new setting in the future. There's one good argument for why the Realms DON'T need another setting book - Ed Greenwood can self-publish one if he wants, or any number of other great authors can. That said, I'm curious if Al-Qadim, Maztica, Kara-Tur, etc are off-limits from DM's Guild until the Realms go there (is only Faerûn fair game? Why else would Guild Adepts release a Calimshan Guide as essentially "Al-Qadim lite" in a single small country between the Sword Coast and Chuult?I'm actually curious if any part of Exandria is now open for business on the DM's Guild, or if Mercer retains propriety control of the setting at large, or if it's too messy a rights issue due to Green Ronin's Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting at the moment…</blockquote>
