Your complaint is purely that you don't want to update but your DM is making you and you are blaming WotC for making the book in the first place. Because that's the only thing I can think of that would force you to use it against your will. If that's the case, I recommend talking with your DM or maybe running your own game. It's not WotC's fault people wanted updates and it's certainly not their fault you don't want them. Figure out your table drama and let us who wanted an updated artificer enjoy it.</blockquote>
