Zurd vs. orc b: Zurd's readied spell goes off. Note: you described your action as both readied and delayed, which is confusing. I'm treating it as readied, since I think that makes more sense in context -- you did describe a trigger -- but in the future please try to keep it straight. If it were delayed, you'd be grappled before you could cast it. Orcs b, e, and f are all knocked unconscious. They're not doing as well on saves as on attack rolls, it seems. Payne vs. orc c: The orc's grapple check: 19. Payne is grappled. She takes 4 HP damage. BTW, I got the rule wrong about the defender using a choice between strength and dex -- I was probably thinking of the disarm rules. It's strength+BAB for both parties, with a size modifier for non-medium creatures. This doesn't affect any of the results for this round. Round 2: Kol -- surrounded by orcs, one has been trying to shove him into the pool behind him. He does what? Kongu -- grappled and wounded. She tries to escape the grapple. Opposed checks: Kongu 3 vs. orc 8. Fails. Payne -- grappled and wounded. She does what? Lokin -- moves into the fray and drops orc d. Kongu is now freed from her grapple. Kyle -- moves up and attacks orc g. He hits, for 3 HP damage. Zurd -- spell was successful. He now has free rein. What does he do? orcs -- stay tuned!
