Like most members of her family, Roz Delamos spent much of her early childhood traveling between the estates of various noble families on Cadavus in particularly those who are allied with the Decados.</p><p></p><p>The Delysa family’s standing with many of the Vladislav allied Decados fell as a result of their unwavering support of the disposed Aleksandrov family during the Emperor War. It was later discover that during the final years of the war, the House of Delysa lent aid to the rivals of the Decados, and may have been responsible for their defeat in countless battles due to their resentment of the Vladislav family. This revelation had lead to the family’s disgrace in the eyes of loyal supporters of the Decados royal family, and as a result had a great impact on Roz’s life as she found her access to certain noble households limited during the later half of her childhood.</p><p></p><p>During the majority of Roz’s life, she found herself being groomed to live a leisurely life and had spent a great deal of her time being trained in social pursuits. Initially, Roz underwent an extensive training in hope of shaping her into a skilled ambassador as a result of her parents hoping that they could marry her into one of the Decados households, but soon after their family’s betrayal was discovered, her parents began to wonder if their actions may have affected their plans for Roz. </p><p></p><p>Early during her adolescent years, Roz found herself struggling to gain acceptance from her peers even though it had become apparent that she was growing to become a charming and beautiful woman. As a result of her family’s disgrace, she often found herself shunned of not humiliated when she would attend social events that were held at various Decados estates. At one such event, Roz found herself pushed to the limit and then challenged her offender to a duel. This even changed her life as soon discovered previous dance training lent itself nicely to dueling. She then decided to train to become expert duelist after coming to the conclusion that her skill at a sword would aid her in combat the disgrace and humiliation that rivals would place onto her. </p><p></p><p>Before coming to age, Roz had gained a reputation for being an accomplished duelist who is as fierce in battle as she is loyal to her allies. As a result, she often is asked to champions her allies in duels when ever they feel they lack the skill to defeat those who wronged them; a move which often placed both her and allies’ reputation at stake. Besides for earning respect from a few who watched or participated in duel against her, she has also earned enmity from many who she defeated. Unfortunately, Roz has also earned a reputation for being quite impulsive and naive, two traits that her would be rivals often exploit. </p><p></p><p>Ironically, although Roz strives to restore her family’s lost standing by bringing honor to its name, this was not the reason why she joined the Company of the Phoenix. Prior to Roz Delamos Delysa’s joining the company, it was discovered by Peregryn Chomolny Decados, that Roz was trying to gain the affection of Ellex Slava Decados, a noble who often asked Roz to fight in duels as his champion. Using this knowledge, Peregrym decided to persuade Roz to join the company on the phoenix while claiming that it allow her to gain the Ellex’s affection.
