Ive had the two surviving royals tane charge snd using the mythallar from Anauroch Empire of Shadows book to create shadow magen. Theyre short of personal.

Should of Thirst is a act 2 BG3 inspired place. Dead magic zone shadow weave works fine though.

Empires gone "Netheril" is now Orolin city state which seems to have survived. Aumvor cleared out Shars Clergy.

For my serious answer, I love the Shades, but I have yet to come up with a great way to use them yet!
