Fairy tale logic vs naturalism in fantasy RPGing

Those who preferred the second question probably have found themselves drifting further and further afield from "D&D" the longer the years pass---with Forge-ist narrative games, Fate, Apocalypse Engine, Cinematic Unisystem, Coretex+, et. al.---into something that specifically aims to produce a gameplay experience divergent from D&D.</p></blockquote><p></p>
