Fake Blood: Mix a clear paint-on gloss with red ink or food coloring adding a bit of brown to darken up the mix if desired.

It is a long drive, to Chicago area for you, but there was a guy from one of the Carolina's that came.

Since she's easily one of the 5 best painters in the US right now, its probably worth a trip from the Carolinas. ;-)

Besides Chicago is fun - make a vacation of it. See the giant T. Rex skeleton. Have some pizza. Theres plenty to do.
