X2 and Pirates were not on the list. If they were (and they would not be due to the fact that they have already come out) I would have voted for them. Come on man! Nothing on that list is "mainstream". Joe Nobody has no clue about "Kill Bill" or "Bubba Ho-Tep". The only reason I do is because I read "Ain't it Cool News". Just because a lot of people like "Armageddon" does not make it a good movie. Mainstream maybe, but not good. You want to know what I am looking forward to? How about... Thirteen Off the Map Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself Elephant In America Peter Pan House of Sand and Fog Party Monster Scarface Those movies look to be worth my time and investment of $10 and 2 hours. Some of them may even be considered mainstream. And just because something is a "popcorn movie" does not mean that I wont see it out of hand. I am very much looking forward to LotR and Matrix. Don't be depressed because I don't care to watch dumbed down time wasters. My time is far to valuable to waste on such fare. If there is nothing good at the cinema, I would much rather go to the theatre and watch something there. To be fair, I was a little disingenuous with my last post. Matchstick Men looks to be a fine film that is worth my time. I will vote for that.
