Message: <blockquote data-quote="Mistwell" data-source="post: 2966373" data-attributes="member: 2525">Though this was not chronologically the first of the media panels I attended this weekend, given the show is on tonight I figured I should post it first.Fallen, on ABC Family tonight (Sunday July 23, 2006).  2 hours.  This is not a regular season show, but a one-shot.  However, there is an additional 4 hours planned for next summer, and I think (though they did not say this) that if it does well they may make it into a regular season show.Fallen is about a 20-something person who discovers he is half-man, half-angel.  Apparently, there are several categories of Angels: Half Angels (Nephelum), Fallen angels, and full angels.  Some full angels are "good", and protect half-angels and fallen angels.  Others  are not necessarily "good", and are jealous of mankind, as they feel they were the first and that man is just a bunch of glorified apes made the first-love of the Lord.   These "bad" angels kill half-angels and fallen angels.Once our main character discovers his powers, a fallen angel finds him (Ezekiel) and, with the hopes that our hero will find a way to redeem the fallen angel, begins teaching him how to use his angellic powers.  Those powers include strength, healing, the summoning of flame-like weapons, fireballing, Matrix-like fighting, flying (eventually with wings), and related powers.One of the writers I believe is from Buffy and Angel.  One of the lead actors is from Battlestar Galactica (he plays a cylon on that show).I liked what I saw (though they did not show the entire thing).  I think it's worth checking out.</blockquote>
