Things that made me dislike this show. 1. The lead character, Aaron, asks something about God and a character, I think it was Exekial, comments "Allah, Shiva, Tao..." giving the impression that all religions are from the same source. From a comment on another board, I think the book this is based on refers to a Source for where the power comes from. 2. The 'bad angels' also torture freely and kill any human that gets in their way or finds out anything about their actual existance instead of just as a matter of faith. These evil acts cause no problem with them being 'angels'. Did the Fallen Angels articulate why they were Fallen? I may have missed it. 3. It may just be my family but we all thought the angel wings resembled feathered batwings and appeared ominous no matter if the 'angel' was good or bad. 4. The autistic child being used as an early warning system and the fact that Aaron is able to get a response from him almost as soon as he had been adopted. There is supposed to be this wonderful familial love between Aaron and the parents but at the time the mother is hysterically trying to get out of the house to help Aaron or see how he is, Aaron only sneaks over to a broken window to talk to the autistic child. He doesn't try to ease her mind, or explain jack to the parents he loves enough to finally call 'Mom and Dad'... well, he called them that once, then reverted back to calling them by their first names. 5. the bit about the girl he liked seemed like a setup for a series hook, although the storyline looked like it would cause Aaron to wander the world, not just hang out in the old hometown. I don't know how an 18 year old girl is supposed to jump up and wander with him. Now, I did like the dog, and Aaron's reaction when he could understand what the dog was 'saying'. That was cool. The dog having an angelic name, Gabriel, was annoying.
