Familiar sources

I'm looking for a list of all books and articles that have familiars for sorcerers and those idiots with the spell books ( ).

I've got the PHB, and Dragon 280. I know there was a published spider familiar somewhere because I gave it to a character about a year ago. So it's in a book I own, but I can't seem to find it...

I also know that you can have flying cats in Forgotten Realms, but have never found stats for them, just a vague reference in Cormyr.

I also have a list of them in Spells and Spellcraft, but those all seem overpowered for beginning characters and lack guidelines as to what is needed to get them ( -shrug- ).

Any other sources, and anyone know the reference on that spider?

Bastion Press' Minions (and the electronic version, Minions: Rebirth) have a half-dozen or so "outsider" familiars. They're not really overpowered, either... good for passing muster with stingy DMs like me.

There's a hairy spider familiar in Faiths and Pantheons (and I think Lords of Darkness too). Don't forget Tome and Blood for new familiars as well.
