What fantastic geography have you used in your world? Im looking for inspiration

Some from my last world include -

1) Permanent storm 100 miles across, surrounding the island of the gods.
2) Mile high platue that was caught between the prime material and Hell.
3) Donkle, A small town that existed under an anti-magic field.
4) An island chain where civilization was driven underground by way too many dragons. Long tunnels equipped with eternal decanter like fountains for fresh water connected them.

The elven kingdom wasn't part of the material plane. Sometimes, it's an island floating in the lake, and other times, it's a forest glade that just mysteriously appears in the plains. The only way to get there is by crossing underneath two trees that "X" on a full moon at twilight, unless you're "lucky" enough to actually find the twilight realm. In any case, it's always surrounded by mist.

A dragon's graveyard, similar to an elephant graveyard. It's haunted by scavenger kobold tribes, who are QUITE vicious.

I once had a campaign set on an effectively endless plain. Like the serengetti but amped up to fantasy levels. It was too dangerous for normal humans to survive on the plains so they built cities on the back of enourmous (hundreds of feet high) elephant like creatures that roamed the plains in a centuries long migration pattern. The inhabitants of the cities used flying mounts to enter and leave.

One region of my world has been blasted by a failed world-destroying death-ritual. The ritual may have failed, but it turned a region over 100 miles across into a waste. 400+ years later, plants and animals are just creeping into the outer edges.

The Grand Canyon (I use earth geography) has been a dwarf-nation for over 1,200 years. While my PCs have never gone there, I imagine it to be a fabulous combination of Moria and Sculpture Garden. My dwarves are very artistic and love to carve stone into fantastic artworks.
